THE CHALLENGE
This Global European Banking and Financial Services Company implemented multiple Business Process Management (BPM) and Integration projects using Software AG’s webMethods product suite. These projects were both large and small including critical areas such as support of their Prime Brokerage Services. webMethods Integration Server, webMethods Trading Networks, webMethods Broker, webMethods BPM, and webMethods Optimize were all used to support these mission critical projects. This customer chose the webMethods product suite as the foundation for these projects because it is the best solution on the market today and allows them to bring new solutions to market faster than competitors. However, the team was always looking for ways to improve their application delivery time as well as the overall quality and maturity of their application lifecycle management procedures.
THE SOLUTION
CrossVista TEAM Server is a next generation Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution for distributed applications. Traditional VCS (such as ClearCase, CVS, SubVersion, and VSS) can be useful at supporting file-based, centralized application development. However, these systems have not kept up with today’s technology. All provide only limited support for more sophisticated distributed application platforms like webMethods.
